I spoke only the other day to a 40yr old sikh who said that at the Gudwara he finds it hard to under stand what is being said as it is spoken so fast, he has had 40 yrs of living in a panjabi speaking family and struggles so what chance would a new comer have. Please try to be more tolerant to none panjabi speaking Sikhs,Not all have the same leaning capabilities.
Re: SFC: Language - A barrier for New Sikhs? Jeetijohal ji surely if sikhism is to become a religion for all then would it not be better to preach it in a language that the majority could understand. the idea is to teach the word of God not the language that can come later. if panjabi is so easy to learn then why is it that so many born Sikhs do not know it (in England ).
