Although the person responsible for the attack has been taken into custody, Sikh Community living in Punjab needs to take extra measures to ensure all further acts of blasphemy are brought to a halt.</span></p><p> <span style="color: Navy"></span></p><p><span style="color: Navy">Suresh Kumar is said to be drunk when he entered the Gurdwara premises and cause damaged to some pothis and gutkas. He also lit fire that caused damage to the floor mats of the Gurdwara. Sikh24 is attempting to get more information on the incident and will keep its readers updated.</span></p><p> <span style="color: Navy"></span></p><p><span style="color: Navy">The incident has shocked the entire Sikh community as it is similar in nature to the attack on 30 August 2012 at Sahnewal village Gurdwara when around 10 Bihari men entered and attacked the Granthi Singh named Ajmer Singh who was doing pathh. This incident took place around 10 PM. The men then proceeded to tear Angs 393 and 394 from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj.
