They have the Chinese mainland surrounded; the Philippines, Taiwan, Guam, South Korea and Japan are just military extension arms of the US. They also have all the energy producing countries dancing to their tunes; kuweit, UAE, Saudi Arabi, Iraq, Qatar, Oman, Canada. The only rogue ones remaining are Iran and to some extent Russia. </span></span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: 'Arial'"><span style="font-size: 12px">From a military perspective china is in no way superior to the US because of the strong US presence in the pacific and their securing of proven 'freindly' oil reserves. From a geopolitical standpoint China is still far behind and likely to remain behind unless they become energy independent. (otherwise confrontation is likely to erupt quicker than inticipated)</span></span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: 'Arial'"><span style="font-size: 12px">methinks, India is of little military value to the US, they are also remarkably uncooperative on many fronts the US wishes of them (namely Iran) and their reluctance to adopt American weapon systems that were offered in the MRCA auction and their nitpicking on the Nuclear deal.
