One of my main points in this post is that all the above posts are so pessimistic and doomsday oriented. I am rather tired of that. We get it in the news often enough, and it is designed, yes, you read rightly, designed to produce exactly that effect. Why? Because then when you are told you shall pay higher taxes to supposedly clean up the environment, you will not even think to protest, much less attempt to find out where that money really goes. So before you go into a knee-jerk reactionary mode upon reading this post, stop, and think. God and Guru gave us brains for a reason! Wahe Guru- Kulwant
Kulwant ji Sat Sree Akaal ! I cannot agree with you more than that. I am pro planet. I strongly feel that education for all regarding all this necessary through mandatory subject in schools. I have visted India after many years and vitnessed their lack of education and awareness in this field, if I say it is close to zero, it wont be odd. They burn things quite oftenly in protext of celibrations of something, through trash where they like to. Not aware how to minimize consumption of gas(petrol). Forget about bigger companies who do not give a damn about it, ordinary people are displaying the same behaviour. Through education, I feel, next generation can contribute to save the planet. God bless the humanity in this context !! pk70
