abhinaasee paa-i-aa naam Dhi-aa-i-aa sagal manorath paa-ay. Meditating on the name of the Lord, you will meet the Eternal Lord, all your filth will be gone, and you will receive what you long for. saaNt sahj aanand ghanayray gur charnee man laa-ay. your mind will be filled with wisdom. contentment, immense bliss, poise, by contemplating the Shabad of Satguru. poor rahi-aa ghat ghat abhinaasee thaan thanantar saa-ee. Parmatma is in all hearts, pervading all space. In every particle interspace, Parmatma is present. kaho naanak kaaraj saglay pooray gur charnee man laa-ee. ||4||2||5|| Says Nanak, Those devotees have all their works completed, who have attached themselves to the Guru's feet, shabad of Satguru. What is the state of those ? who have attached themselves to Satguru's feet? In Davygandharee, Satguru Arjan Sahib jee is telling us. Satguru ji, your words are ambrosial nectar for me. Kathakaar is telling of a story about, when a sikh, used to turn his back during certain lines of gurbani kirtan. When asked why you are doing this? the sikh said, this is because some lines of Gurbani are slapping me in the face, thats why i turn my face. But Those who are one with parmatma, all words of Satguru are sweet Kathakaar, is saying, all words of Satguru are ambrosial sweet to that one, who is attached to Satguru's feet. For them, Parmatma is very sweet, enticing to the mind, peaceful, blissful. They need not dynasties, or kingdoms, they need not liberation of any type. All they need is to be attached to Satguru's feet, to Satguru's shabad. Those who are melted in love of God, are those who have become one with Parmatma, They say "Satguru ji, Do mercy on me, I only want to be united with your feet." All gods, goddesses they all thirst, they all seek the darshan/sight of Parmatma. Im a beggar, I have come to your door, O Parmatma, Beautiful Parmatma, my mind is attached to you. You have carried me across the terrifying world ocean. You have lifted me above births deaths. Kathakaar, is saying join the satsangat, and sing the praises of Parmatma. singing the praises of Parmatma, you will be carried across. Those who sing, their lineage's family ancestory is also carried across. On whom parmatma has done kirpa, they remember parmatma every moment. eating, sleeping, working, they remember parmatma. Parmatma is the protector of his devotees. Who is not met through any dress or garb. Singing beautiful songs, but they have ahankaar within. In this way, Parmatma is not obtained. Those who know the 4 vedas, who speak very sweet words, are intelligent, beautiful, Still not met through any of your means and attempts. Satguru ji is saying, This gursikhi, thinner then the width of the hair, the path is sharper then the double edged sword, you will not cross across like this. Know that Parmatma is not met, until Satguru does kirpa, until Satguru does mercy on you. Know that a beggar cannot get anything on its own, without the grace of the giver. Pray to Satguru, for Satguru is the All powerful Parmatma, Lord of all, Pray to Satguru, so that he does kirpa on you, and you can meet Parmatma. Through Satguru ji's grace, the effort to meet Parmatma, we make. Forgive any mistakes.
