As sggs is based totally on guru. So majority or 99 % guidance comes from the guru. self surrendering to the guru is the prime requirement which straightens students mind. But the  divine knowledge (godliness) is transferred telepathically from mind to mind  that is when it becomes a  theory.  so there are not many godly sikhs inspite of having sggs. o mend your mind through, humility, love and dedication, and obey gurus will. that guides one to godliness.  but their are two evils which takes  takes away the person from godliness. .even if one has performed every ritual or mental casing. if one has doubt or double mindedness , one cannot become godly. second evil is the slander. slandering becomes the human nature to most of us. the reason for that is that i have to get what the next one has  and one disturbs his or   her mind.. Stability of mind or tuning of mind the the ultimate stage to be godly, because God is n the mind. once it gets disturbed due to our thinking the godliness cannot be achieved.
