I request all the readers to be careful while getting fruitless discussion with agency men. They are doing for the purpose of propaganda against the farmers feeling hurt at the success of the farmers agitation. They will spread all sort of lies. This is continuing not only on this net I found some of them try to draw intellectuals to vitiate their minds against farmers agitation and also against Sikhism. You already know about Kangna who spoke very degrading words against Sikhs. This person too has used Andolarjeevis and other words like. he is the same person who was stopped by the administrator from further writing.

That comment was not related to farmers but to a section who instead of discussing on facts go for personal attacks .

And in regards to victory for the farmers..Is it really a victory ??

1. The entire Opposition class promised these very Farm reforms in their manifesto(which I have posted on this forum) . What Modi did delivered them.

2.Its a humiliating defeat for development, progress, for India. It has taken farmers and nation back decade.

These are not Generalization .
Fact & Figures don't lie.

Skewed malicious propaganda against a community is not a vichar Gosht,
Don't Know, In what context is this being referred to.
But:
Trait : Hatred for Modi, Hatred for Development of the Nation ,Anti Reform (Socialist) mindset , Labelling those with different POV,Not presenting FACTS on economics state of agriculture in Punjab , justfying killing of a Dalit by Nihangs, was quite apparent in your discussion.

These are not the ingredients of a Vichar Gosht .

Rabble rousing matches the yellow journalism and is eye catching which generally includes false assertions about news items, scandal mongering and sensationalism. One should not run amok when confronted with logical assertions and arguments that are meant to enthuse and rouse some elements of critical thinking. The passions that results in discord need be subdued else it may have ravaging effects on both the sides.

Presently, its conceded that in material terms the farmers got that they had demanded on account of their adamancy , aggression and stubbornness rather than on any cognizable merit.

Farmers will always remain a precarious resource of this nation and every possible step needs be taken to improve their lot through consultations and not through confrontations concealed under politics. The general impression that one gathers leads one to assume that the Government is alive to their problems. As an ad-hoc measure, the Government has disbursed, without any demand from the farmers, about Rs.1.60 lakh crores by way of 'Samman Nidhi'.

The stand off was sponsored. It had a political tinge. The vanquished-the Congress-wanted its pound of flesh before it makes the last sigh in 2024. And that was all about the confrontation.!!

@565696, I like your articulation skills! :applause: But unfortunately, the excessive use of heavy words means the message is lost in translations to an ordinary reader... The bottom-line is that the laws were imposed without any kind of consultation with the farmers nationwide and just so you know the new generation of farmers is not as gullible as the present government initially thought.

The battle was won & lost over the social media. The next generation of educated farmers beat the shit out of the Godi media etc. like the headless chickens, who are still licking their wounds.

In a democracy, you take the majority sentiment in confidence before imposing sweeping regulations. Its really funny that you blame the spineless opposition for the fiasco brought upon by the ruling party upon themselves. :coolest:

Had it been that simple, then there was no need for the Govt. to repeal the laws. Unity of farmers meant that Govt had no option but to repeal the laws unconditionally. I don't think any opposition party had any role to play in this spectacular victory for Indian Farmers. Enough said!

Thanks Mr. Aman for responding !

True, the farmers succeeded in making the Government bow to the political pressures of circumstances. If that can be called as a victory of the farmers-yes, it is a victory indeed and a wholesome one.!

The very nature of the prism to view the farmers problem has changed- from economic considerations to political-for the time being it appears that it's no more the economic considerations that would be weighed on scales but the political wisdom and astuteness will be more of a deciding factor- an economic problem is tackled by political expediency-the resultant being the win and victory of our farmers and the likelihood of safeguarding their interests has increased.

Kudos ! the Jade plant in the drawing room is now more greener and the french marigold has started blooming with multi color petals- farmers delight !!

Let it be admitted that 'farmer' is not a privileged class and nor will it be feasible to do in a short span. It will require considered and concerted efforts on both the negotiating sides. But in the process the temple of democracy not be desecrated and the guiding principle that the farmers should sedulously bear in mind that:-

"The Government is the sacrificial martyr,"
And that:-
"Let the Government not be charged with the colossal that it can't bear."
