www ji You could be even more specific, pointing out what phrases or writing style make you suspicious that the doctor is not a "white doctor." I myself replied she should be taken "seriously." However, I have my own doubts, but not about color or religion. I find it difficult to believe that someone with training in the sciences, in preparation for medical school, would make some statements she has made about science. I also have problems with the idea that Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji validates modern scientific discovery. This always signals me that a person is taking Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in a very literal way, and is reading tuks out of the context of the entire shabad. IMHO, a problem because science evolves and will make more discoveries in decades to come. We don't even know what they will be. If Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji validates the discoveries of today, what can we say about Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and the scientific discoveries yet to come? My final concern is that our grasp of the spiritual truth, the sat, should not depend on a match with science because the truth of the sat transcends the truth of science and all natural wonders. I do not believe that the doctor is a fake. I do think her thinking is simplistic. p/s It is one thing to say one will only marry within one' own faith. However, when a person demands/commands that his/her spouse or intended spouse convert, what does that say how a person is living that faith?
