[QUOTE="snavneet, post: 2945, member: 334"] [size=2]Sat Sri Akaal… (God, the timeless One is True) Whatever may be the stance of people on this forum or in this world, Sikhi’s stance is clear. Sikhi believes in ONE GOD and SATGURU GRANTH SAAHIB JI guides our SOULS in understanding this TRUTH. We spend a large portion of our lives learning about this world through science. But very few of us spend enough time learning about God through the Satguru. Knowing a bit about the world makes us think that we can prove or disprove the existence of God using our worldly knowledge. But Satguruji has clearly told us many times that no kind of worldly knowledge can help one to know God. The characteristics of a person, who is capable of knowing God, have also been mentioned many many times in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The duty of a Sikh is to learn about God from one’s Satguru and to inculcate qualities that would make one a True Gursikh. There really is no other way to know God except through the Satguru. I humbly request anyone taking an agnostic or atheistic stance to at least mention that their views about God and our Soul are their own and not of Sikhi. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.
