Local Sikhs and many Sikh organizations had claimed that dera followers had demolished an old Gurdwara at Waraich village in Beas following which the SGPC had set up a three-member probe panel. SGPC penal was considered to have been set up as per political directions of Badal clan that has close family relations with Dera head besides political interests in the dera.
