Harbans ji, Guru Fateh. Thanks for the response. In my opinion, whenever we start the debate on DG is irrelevant. The first and the foremost thing should be done is to remove the title of the writings as DASAM GRANTH because this title is an insult to our Dasam Pita who sacrificed His Father, His four Sons, added His Father, our 9th Guru's Gurbani to the SGGS, gave us Khalsa Panth and showed us the way how to become true Peace Warriors to defend justice for all, sans bias. One most important thing to remember and should be respected by all of us is that by His own choice, our Dasam Pita did not add a Single Word of his in the SGGS, and bestowed upon us the SGGS as our ONLY GURU. The reasons are only known to Him and should not be questioned. Period. By naming a book of writings as Dasam Granth, which we know are not all His, we are questioning our Dasam Pita's intelligence, vision and everything else He did for us, to turn us from weak sparrows that we were into hawks so that we can fight against injustice committed to anyone of any hue, creed or faith. So, the question arises as He did not add anything of His own to SGGS, then would He be arrogant enough to give a title to the book with His name, after all those sacrifices and name it Dasam Granth? No way, Jose, as we say in this country. Once we stop insulting our Dasam Pita, His intelligence, vision and last but not the least, His sacrifices and the creation of the Khalsa Panth, then we can discuss the book anytime. There is no hurry. Regards Tejwant Singh
