Ishna Ji, There is no question of any "grief" or anything like that. And no question of questioning etc... Asa Ki vaar tells us..SWAAL JWAAB DOVEHN Kareh ?? muddhoh khutthhah jayeh... A wise perosn NEVER questions and then self answers/provides the Answers !!! A Sikh NEVER questions HIS GURU ( Its NOT the same as not asking "questions" ) Once a SIKH has accepted the Moral and Spiritual AUTHORITY of the GURU KHALSA PANTH ordianed under the AGEIS of the GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI via the PANJ and taken Khandey Batteh Dee PAHUL...he has no more "authority" to question what the PANJ as GURU ordain for him/her. IF he/she still wants her "freedom" ( to cut his/her hair..drink a peg here and then..shave his/her eyebrows armpits..etc etc or read this bani and NOT that bani etc etc) then She/HE has no buisness attending a PAHUL SESSION because thats entirely 100% VOLUNTARY. We cannot have our cake and eat it too. So one can have an anonymous/or public POLL and have 10 million "sikhs" saying..I want this changed..I dont like that..I wish this wasnt here..etc etc..it doesnt change anything one IOTA...UNTIL the GURU KHALSA PANTH decides vis a vis the GURU GRANTH GURBANI what is what. The 1935 SRM wasnt made by me or you..and the next changes wont be done by Me or you either. 2. When i said "discretion"..i meant some "amrtidharees" have gone around telling ..OH I dont like Chaupaii..so I dont read it...its just as bad as saying..OH I swore an Oath to become an American Citizen..But you know what..i despise the Charter of Rights..I wish it were all Shariah law in USA. BOTH actions were VOLUNTARY. if the person loves Shariah law he should stay in Iran..and If an amritdharee doesnt like chaupaii he should stay a Sikh and not go for Pahul...UNTIL..the American Congress passes the Shariah laws..or until the Guru Khalsa Panth bans Chaupaii..BOTH should keep quiet and keep their "discretion" to themsleves. Hope this clarifies. Regards
