[QUOTE="Gyani Jarnail Singh, post: 10754, member: 189"] Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji Ki fateh. The words SANT/SADH/GURU/SATGURU used in GURBANI are almost always exclusively used for the TEN GURU SAHIBAANS, the Bhagats whose GURBANI is written in the Guru Granth Ji Sahib..and For WAHEGURU JI Himself or in PLURAL FORM the SADH SANGAT as collective Khalsa. Guru Arjun Ji refers to His Father Satguru ramdass Ji as..Bhaag hoa GUR-SANT milaya....and if GURU RAMDASS JI is GUR-SANT..then nay living human "sant/sadh/guru/satguru" caliming this title for himself will have to be EQUAL to GURU RAMDASS JI...in qualities and everything else includign uchaaring GURBANI. Any one who claims he is SATGURU....must be EQUAL to GURU NANAK JYOT and capable of uchaaring GURBANI. Unescapable fact is today the ONE and ONLY SANT/SADH/SATGURU is SHABAD GURU GURU GRANTH JI and none other. Gurbani says clearly..MANUKH KEE SEWA BIRTHEE JAAN.... doing sewa of a human being no matter how HOLY/gurmukh/etc he claims to be is BIRTHEE. The only SEWA that will bear FRUIT is SEWA of Shabad GURU - Gurbani. GURU GOBIND SINGH JI closed off for eternity the HUMAN GURU LINE in 1708 by passing Gurgadhi to Guru Granth and Guru Panth. There is NO OTHER VICHOLA etc to follow in this path to waheguru... the ENTIRE MANUAL is in our hands GURU has kept no secrets that "holy men" must teach us. There are groups going around under various guises and names that sound as if straight out of gurbani.... that try to MISLEAD SIKHS away from GURU GRANTH and towards SANTS/HUMANS as "teachers".. Initially these groups are very clever and Use GURBANI QUOTES liberally as if they are only talking about GURBANI....but the SUBTLE UNDERLYING MESSAGE is to spread the LIE that we NEED the so called "sants" mentioned in Sukhmani Sahib to help us towards the path to Guru Ji. GURU GOBIND SINGH JI made thr Khalsa Panth INDEPENDENT of any such humans..all sikhs must endeavour to learn gurbani, study gurbani, follow gurbani love gurbani, breathe gurbani....and only GURBANI....ONLY this will help us.
