Punjab is going to elect a new government on February 13 next. </span></p><p></p><p><span style="color: #000080">SAD (Delhi) led by Paramjit Singh Sarna has got clear cut majority in DSGMC by winning 28 seats, where as SAD (BADAL) has got 12 and SAD (panthic) with 6 seats in the house of 46. </span></p><p></p><p><span style="color: #000080">The prestige of Badal was at stake in Delhi where he and his party men aggresively campaigned. Badal had addressed 18 public meetings during three days stay in Delhi and so was his son Sukhbir Singh Badal. The Delhi voters however ahve given a clear message against policies of Badal.</span></p><p><span style="color: #000080">Shiromani Gurdawara Parbhandak Committee (SGPC) presidet Avtar Singh Makkar was camping in Delhio for over a month. Makkar was made SGPC president to woo the urban Sikhs who have large population in Delhi. Badal wanted to use the same card in punjab where is facing the charges of being rural bias. Makkar was also considered a trump card of SAD to nutralise the impact of Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh over urban Sikhs in particular and Sikh community in general.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="color: #000080">Meanwhile, Bibi Joginder Kaur Tohra, wife of late Gurcharan Singh Tohra, has congratulated Sikhs of Delhi as they have chosen right candidates for Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management committee (DSGMC). </span></p><p><span style="color: #000080">While talking to visiting media persons at her residence in Patiala she said that she had telephonic talk with Paramjit Singh Sarna and gives her good wishes.</span></p><p></p><p><span style="color: #000080">Sarna is expected to campaign in Punjab against SAD in the assembly elections. Interestingly, a thrid front SAD(Panthic) in Delhi Sikh Gurdwara politics which has support of former Akal Takht Jathedar Bhai Ranjit Singh would also campaign against SAD.
