Hard Talk I'm At The Verge Of Losing My Faith In Sikhi. Maybe Already Have. I Need Advice.

I never left...? It’s funny you say you interpret it as questioning when you’re not open to any answers! Sikh is a religion not a philosophy. Had to respond because you’re actually quite funny. Now I’m off unless Rajveer has any comments on post.

Hard Talk I'm At The Verge Of Losing My Faith In Sikhi. Maybe Already Have. I Need Advice.

Thanks or the advice. I was only replying to Rajveers post who was open to people commenting and shouldn’t have responded to any other comments. Meditation being vastly off topic for a thread about Sikhi is truly baffling which is why I think I should leave it there. Thank you for the...

Hard Talk I'm At The Verge Of Losing My Faith In Sikhi. Maybe Already Have. I Need Advice.

Ah I see... I am not being impolite I’m just asking as I am intrigued. The act of simran is to meditate which is what I read from gurbani that’s why maybe I’m finding it hard to understand but each to their own. Apologies to all if I have offended. If you get a chance take a look at the links...

I don’t disrespect your opinion at all (realising now people are quite defensive on here) just really and honestly intrigued. All the gurus and Bhagats in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji have explained that meditation is key through the Shabad guru. Can I ask where you have learnt about Sikhi from...

I’m in no position to preach so apologies if that’s what you took from that post just sharing what I have learnt in the last few years. What’s hard to understand is why there are so many opinions on what the Sikh journey is when it is quite clear in gurbani.

The sad thing is it really shouldn’t be a debate. If we listen to what gurbani teaches us it’s very simple.

Gurbani teaches us the purpose of life which is to meet waheguru whilst we are living. We can achieve this only by meditating on his name be that waheguru, ram, allah etc. Chanting his name is the key to the Sikh journey.

Hi Rajveer, Just read through your post and haven't seen all the replies but have you ever visited: mysimran.info? There is a lot of material on there which teaches about the true meaning of Sikhi. I also attend a gurdwara in slough - Guru Maneyo Granth Gurdwara. They teach in english and very...
