Halal is an Islamic word that is used by Muslims to signify what is permissible for them according to Sharia Law. We are not living under Sharia Law, because we are not muslims and therefore the word halal...

Why would anyone who is Not a Follower of Islam want meat that has been dedicated to a foreign deity??? It is OUTRAGEOUS that this meat is being foisted upon everyone regardless of their religion... or non-religion. So many shoppers & consumers are buying and eating it...
Halal Authorities say there is no evidence that cutting an animals throat while fully conscious, then hanging it to bleed slowly to death is cruel - but clearly there is!
The same Scientists from many European countries concluded at the end of their 4 Year study across many European Countries...
Note that many people are unwittingly eating halal meat, because it is not labelled as such!

If a meat or non-meat product has the halal sign, this means that money is regularly being paid to a halal authority from the sale of that product to inspect the production plant and for the Halal Certification.
