    What Is God?

So you are saying Guru Nanak Sahib ji is describing 'Love' in those nine words of Mool Mantar? But 'love' is an emotion, how does love fit into characteristics of Karta Purakh, Ajuni or Saibhan?

    What Is God?

So in other words you are saying god is Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva? Thank you Maneet ji but my question is what Guru ji describing in the mool -mantar(mangla-charan) I feel it is very important to understand mool-mantar before you start understanding rest of Guru Granth Sahib ji.

    What Is God?

Veer ji, Gurbani is all about connecting with this 'GOD'. If "god' just is and does what it does, without needing to think about it or needing to feel emotion, then what is our point of doing prayer? Is 'god' an intelligent force or energy like us humans?

How Could Guru Nanak Visit Mecca If He Wasn't A Muslim?

Interesting, do you realize that there are still handwritten Saroops of Guru Granth Sahib ji from times of Gurus? As far as my knowledge serves, there have no deletion in Adi Granth from the day Guru Arjan Dev ji did very first parkash till this day. Only 'Ragmaala' was added later on which we...

Sikh Guru Nanak's Teachings On Animated Video (Chief's Forum)

Narayanjot Kaur Ji Any 'Sakhi' which is not as per 'Gurmat' should not be promoted. No one knows how authentic these 'Sakhis' are, who wrote these 'Sakhis', when it was written. Original 'Sakhi' might have been transformed into something else as it was passed from generation to generation. We...

Sikh Guru Nanak's Teachings On Animated Video (Chief's Forum)

WJKK WJKF In following video, they have shown Guru Anagad Dev Ji as clean shaven. Most of the Sakhis shown in these video are far from gurmat and closer to fairy tales. Guru Nanak dev ji's Sikhi is not based on fairy tales but in fact on 'truth' or reality. Is there anything in Sikh Rehat...

Sehajdharis Seek Separate SGPC If Voting Right Denied

Regarding your analogy that “why not roam about naked”, please also consider the fact that Guru Nanak dev ji also asked us to live in the context of a family life. :happysingh:
