Sects Why Have Sikhs Changed Sikhism?

I would agree with Harry ji as I don't think you should worry about how someone else is practices his or her own religion. May the Hindu be the best Hindu and the Muslim be the best Muslim as long as they keep it to themselves. I had not really known much about the animal slaughter at Sri...

Opinion This Is No Way To Boost Our Poor Sex Ratio

The issue is of mentality. As a researcher I along with other agencies such as the UNDP and UNICEF produced ample reports debunking ideas that somehow boys will lead to more prosperity. And moreover, the fact that infanticide takes place among Indian communities living in UK and elsewhere also...

    Sukhnidhan In Gurdwara

Absolutely not, that is not what I am saying. While many leaders/soldiers may not have taken Bhang or anything else, But history is person's point of view and it is almost never objective. Was I there during the time of the wars- No! But being a Sikh also requires me to investigate information...

    Sukhnidhan In Gurdwara

From historical records that I have come across noted that Deg/Bhang were useful during or before a battle. In a state of mild intoxication with higher than usual adrenaline in the body's pain receptors are affected. However, I have not been able to validate this claim with any scientific research.

You cannot prove that God exists in Sikhism because to define God means you have some comprehension of what God is which in a way kills god. God is unknowable and beyond time and existence.

    Fools Who Wrangle Over Flesh

Re: Can I Go to the Gurdwara after Eating a Tiny Bit of Meat? there is a reason for not eating meat before going to the gurdwara and it is as much spiritual as it is scientific. Meat take a lot of time and energy to digest. As such if you have a stomach full of meat before going to the...

Inspirational She Ain't Heavy. She's My Sister

The quality of this video suggest that the author of this project is not connected with the reality on the ground. Instead he/she has taking pictures from various sources and attached the song to them. However, the problem of infanticide cannot be dealt with ideas that promote its immorality...

    Hinduism A Brahmin's Cow Tales

This is a very interesting article. There are several other books that have argued similar points and are worth a read. The most prominent that comes to mind is the "Myth of the Holy Cow". Also it important to not there are many Hindu families that still eat beef, especially in the state of...

    Islam Is Islam Scientific?

Re: is islam scientific??? no religion is scientific. One can argue that some ideas in religion can be explained through science but that does not mean its scientific. Religion does not follow the rigor if experimentation instead it relies on divine revelation that may or may not be true. Dont...

    God Is Not Great

all religions can be argued to be false as they are all made up by man. There are spiritual and philosophical ideas attached with the mythologies in religion that cannot be explained to people without any background in such form of reasoning. The Bible and stories within it have deeper...

10 Deadly Sins Of Negative Thinking
