Dear Kamashakti and BSD416, Welcome to the forum and thanks for your post . I would again like summarise some points here which might help new posters About Sikhism 1. Symbolism and conpiracy theories has nothing to do with sikhism although some people like JDP thinks that there is a link It is the understanding of somebody,s about sikhism that is creating confusion As according to JDP Lion as animal with its Mane signifies the sun with its rays In sikhism Lion as animal has never been used ( has anybody seen lion depection in religious places or texts ) although the SINGH ( Meaning Lion) is used to espress Bravery . 2. Sikhism Infact the philosophy which teaches about SARBAT DA BHALA ( Well being of all mankind ) in daily prayer Yes , their is no denial that every sikh cant be complete / full follwer of teaching to the words of GURU but every try their best to do so as taught in sikhism . Some peopel especially born in Punjab ( INdia) are born in sikhism and fail to follow it their life while still carrying external symbols of Sikhism and may give negative Picture to sikh faith and might anger people like JDP While definately it is not Truth about Sikhism 3) There is NOT EVEN A SINGLE WAR fought by Sikh Guru ( mainly 6th and !0th ) that was aimed at aquiring any LAND , MONEY , CONVERTING PEOPLE TO A SIKHISM. Infact all wars were fight INJUSTICE. 4) About SIKH Religion Being originated from Hindu or part of Hindu : It has been debated many times in books and forums , briefly AS Sikh Believe all religions or spirtual paths were created by AKAL /GOD Himself . DHARM / Righteousness has always been on earth since the creation and has been revived from time to time By AKAL / GOD Himself through various Meaasnger / Spitual peoples and later on due misinterpretation of so called Followers of such paths lead to boundaries and ultimately hate for the fellow being who dont match their beliefs . Sikh Philosophy is a similar craetion of GOD/AKAL and emphasise on not Creating Boundaries and remain all welcoming Still people interpret with their own Preceptions and knowledge and so is the expression and some may just redicule it to the extent of conspiracy . Totally Appreciate your advice, and totally correct Any body follwing this discussion cant miss the anger, agitaion post with Characters of maximum size by my dear friend which make me write word CRAZY for him and also as doctor in Psychiatry I have such loud behaviour in many young patients . Beside this I havent used any word to hurt any body , for the information of JDP he very lovingly use some beautiful words for other like SHIT IDIOT {censored} STOOLS and many more beautiful words one just need to read some of the posts. NOTE: As a Moderator on site if JDP had done similar act against some other member , then their could have been very possibity of banning him but as he was debating me so thiught it to be unfair But I want to Mentiom here that he should mind his language while writing post in future as well for god of everybody here . Now about JDP VIEWPOINT I as a Sikh as no problem wit hhis view point , Infact at his age ( 19 years ) I myself have gone through similar phase in my life where I felt like rejecting all the organised religion and it was the time when 9/11 happened and it just fueled my curosity and I was just at every place to find out more about the conpiracy theories and the wrong going on in the world . Till the day I realised the message of Sikhism . I am aware of this longand painful journey which shows up in the posts of JDP. Like posting Foul language , Multiple login names ( I have all the IP ADRESS IN CASE ANYBODY WANT TO CONFIRM ) and this eventually made me realise the frustation of JDP . The only thing that ppursued me into debate was his calling SIKHISM part of organised conspiracy theories and then his reasoming about symbloism . I appreciate the thing that people say that religion create division but this not religion but the personal interpretation of people about religion I appreciate his Open thinking and really wish that he may find right way and peace and regeret uselessly Debating on issues that I should not have done, as I have mnay other worth things to be done in my precious god given life May Akal Bless us all SARBAT DA BALAA Jatinder Singh
