What do you have planned for Vaisakhi this year?

This is kinda the first Vaisakhi I am taking part in, me and my friend are going to the Nagar Keertan [procession] on Sunday which should be interesting and fun!

Hi CC and Dear Sangat,

Happy Khalsa Sthapan Divas i.e. Vaisakhi Day

It is a working day for me, so can't go for the procession, if any. I got a long meeting by evening time. So full day is in work for me.

Thanks to the liberal nature of Canada (particularly when you work for government) I am able to take the day off on religious grounds. I have done so almost every year except this one (too busy). Unfortunately, most of today I will be embroiled in negotiations all day (sigh) but I plan on attending local Vaisakhi ceremonies later in the week.

I wish everyone a very happy Vasakhi!
