Yes Jios..the Hallal method is prohibited due to its.. 1. Religious/ritaulised/and SACRIFICIAL Connotation. 2. Halla was ( still IS ) one way the Ruling/Majority MUSLIMS enforced their dieting and syariah Laws upon all subjugated/ruled peoples. Since a SIKH only bows to AKAL PURAKH...such subjugation is unacceptable. Just look how insidiously the Muslim Nations like Saudi Arabaia Malasyia etc have used their Financial clout to ensure ONLY HALLAL is served by Multinational Food franchises like McDonalds, KFC etc and even in the UK all schools public supermarkets like tesco etc all sell only "Hallal" (sometimes not openly), IN MALAYSIA it is MANDATORY FOR ALL Aussie/NZ lamb etc to be Hallal ONLY...and Australia even SHIPS all its LIVE CATTLE and SHEEP to Malaysia Indonesia so they cna be hallal by Malaysian Muslims. Malaysian Muslims are employed at Aussie Abbatoirs to ensure halal. UK is NOT a Majority Muslim nation..Malaysia is substantially Non-Muslim..!!! 3. RITUAL SLAUGHTER as SACRIFICE is also practised by HINDU MANDIRS..commonly dedicated to DURGA..and these HINDUS use JHATKA METHOD to decapitate the Goat...but isnce this is SACRIFICED for DURGA..its PROHIBITED to SIKHS inspite of it being "Jhatka".. Golden RULE.....all jhatka is NOT "jhatka"...all "halllal" may also not be Hallal !! LOGISTICS makes this IMPOSSIBLE... Anyway animals killed by Shooting, arrows etc are acceptable as Jhatka as are fish caught ....Golden Rule"AVOID SACRIFICED MEAT."
