Salok.
Salok (Core theme of eight sabads/hymns in the Astpadi)

Ŧajahu si▫ānap sur janhu simrahu har har rā▫e. Ėk ās har man rakẖahu Nānak ḏūkẖ bẖaram bẖa▫o jā▫e. ||1||
Good people leave cleverness and contemplate on the creator lord and king. Expect of one creator in the mind; ills, doubt and fear will leave.

Asatpaḏī.
Eight stanzas hymn

Jo kicẖẖ karai so parabẖ kai rang. Saḏā saḏā basai har sang.
What one does is by creator’s discretion. Always and always resides by the creator.

Sahj subẖā▫e hovai so ho▫e. Karṇaihār pacẖẖāṇai so▫e.
All happens as so normally. Recognize such (creator) to be the doer.

Parabẖ kā kī▫ā jan mīṯẖ lagānā. Jaisā sā ṯaisā ḏaristānā.
Humble feel sweetness in what creator does. As is, so is such (creator) visualized.

Jis ṯe upje ṯis māhi samā▫e. O▫e sukẖ niḏẖān unhū ban ā▫e.
Where such came from they stay immersed in the same. Such become the treasure trove of comforts and only so are suitable.

Āpas ka▫o āp ḏīno mān. Nānak parabẖ jan eko jān. ||8||14||
To self such (creator) gives honor by self. Nanak, the creator and humble servants be understood as one.
ESSENCE: In the salok, Guru ji say that cleverness is not needed to understand the creator. The linking to one creator removes ills, doubt and fear.

Guru Arjan Dev ji in Astpadi 14, 8th and final sabad review the recognition and oneness with creator. Seeing the creator in all things happening and living in closeness of this, humble and tranquil demeanor so helps to recognize the creator, seeing all happening as of sweetness and seeing so, coming and going out of human form is just a emerging from and immersing into the source.

Guru ji conclude that there is convergence in the creator and self and one should so recognize.
Please note all errors are mine and I stand corrected.
