Honestly honesty is always the best policy especially when he obviously isn't making enough on a job so he must obviously have nothing to lose. Also as he is senior management do you not think he may have more information on how the system runs and maybe the company could effectively be indebted to the employee. Choose wisely you do not wish to be degraded for someone else's issues and problems. From a third party perspective on your query; a business however small or big in structure it's main organizational issue is finance so if they are down on takings or stealing as you ensure I'm certainly sure they would be knowledgeable about it as it's what the entire thing is based on, and would most certainly make there own independent enquiries not just that the third parties support mechanism like billing and suppliers would probably make a complaint before you make an opponent for a relationship you should normally be able to standby. So as you asked for advice I'm just wondering if you really know what you are talking about before you over step a subordinate role. That's all. My biggest worry would be the work ethic of your company. What type of company could possibly entrust its greater success of its future in people that use a subordinate mechanism which could be the root and cause of the companies problem's as there is no structural sensitivity based on receiving coherent and correct information as clearly you have issues with trust on relationships that don't involve finance either how do you expect them to ensure any greater success and support from you or your senior. It's the value mechanism you are using to weigh up your own future too. That would be my concern how do you wish to proceed with a progressive action plan I leave for you to ponder. God bless you child of applications.
I'd say report him in that scenario too. In any circumstance if there senior management they probably already know the score and as a lower level employee you could lose your job and get laughed at. Bold lol.
