But the problem is not in my solution, the problem is that there are people who care about these things in the first place - the homophobes, racists and oppressors who for some reason insist on <strong>talking</strong> about these things as if they make the slightest difference at all in anything.</p><p></p><p>Clearly I am utopian, and my vision of having everyone do this is unrealistic. But I really do believe it's the only solution in the long term. As long as people insist on labeling themselves, there will always be separations among people.</p><p>This is the downside to communication and language.</p><p></p><p>I just choose not to take part. First of all, I simply have the same emotion for LGBT, Foreigners, whatever they may be.. as I have for everyone else. </p><p></p><p>So this is why I say it's a waste of time. Without the language and corresponding symbolic structures to interpret these differences, there are no differences. Especially since so many of these issues, in LGBT especially, are entirely subjective; what makes anyone think we can understand anyone else's sexuality or orientation? </p><p></p><p>Anyway, I just wanted to make it clear that I have no issues with the LGBT community or anyone else for that matter.
