    MUMBAI: Few carry a kirpan , wearing a kanga is inconvenient and even the long hair is succumbing to scissors and gels. But when the 500,000-strong Sikh community of Mumbai congregates in its gurdwaras or open maidan s, as it will do on Friday to celebrate Guru Nanak Jayanti, the 21st-century change in dress and deportment seldom interferes with devotion.
