    [font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Quiz contest on Sikh Gurus[/font]Express News Service[font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Chandigarh, September 18:[/font] [font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]MORE than 240 students of Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28, participated in a quiz competition based on the Sikh Gurus, organised by Pratibimb, a social organisation, here today. However, most of the students were unable to perform well at the competition, showing a clear lack of knowledge about the topic. The paper was divided into two sections — objective and subjective — each comprising 10 questions based on the Sikh Gurus. Various questions related to Guru Gobind Singh’s birth place, parents and life were asked.

    Still better, these events take place. And perhaps more important is the learning that - The students were enthusiastic and suggested that such competitions should be held from time to time, even though they had performed poorly this time.
