Caught between the proverbial devil and the deep sea on the issue of outstanding subsidy of Rs 2,136 crore to Punjab State Electricity Board, the Punjab government has taken a "decision in principle" to ask the board to adjust the loan of Rs 3,000 crore against the subsidy.
