    In a bid to counter hazardous effects of chemical pesticides, Punjab has taken up an ambitious project to produce and sell neem-based pesticide to farmers. The Punjab State Council for Science and Technology (PSCST) has begun the pilot project, in which more than 70 tonnes of neem fruit will be used to produce pesticide over a period of three years.
