The Haryana government is trying to divide the Sikhs of this nation. They should understand that SGPC is not only for managing gurdwaras, but is the strength of the Sikh community, although I don't like the SGPC however it is question of, Sikh community. On one side the Congress claims to be a secular party and on the other they include issues of religion in their election manifesto, Despite the fact that huge number of Sikhs live in Haryana, they have not given the Punjabi language the status of 'second language' in the state. When SGPC mooted a proposal of setting up a Rs.125 crore (Rs.1.25 billion) medical college and hospital in Shahabad in Haryana. But for the last four years, they have not given us an NOC. When SGPC want to establish schools and colleges in Haryana but the state government creates hurdles in their path,

Can anybody understand GOI view ?

Since you're here... we have a small favor to ask...

More people are visiting & reading SPN than ever but far fewer are paying to sustain it. Advertising revenues across the online media have fallen fast. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Donating to SPN's is vote for free speech, for diversity of opinions, for the right of the people to stand up to religious bigotry. Without any affiliation to any organization, this constant struggle takes a lot of hard work to sustain as we entirely depend on the contributions of our esteemed writers/readers. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too... Fund our efforts and together we can keep the world informed about the real Sikh Sikhi Sikhism. If everyone who writes or reads our content, who likes it, helps us to pay for it, our future would be much more secure. Every Contribution Matters, Contribute Generously!
