[QUOTE="Gyani Jarnail Singh, post: 159531, member: 189"] Param88 Ji, I dont think its insulting to have the SGGS simply because there is already an Akal Purakh present. As i said the GURUS came in Human Form to this Physical Earth to LIVE among us like men to give us the Divine Message of Akal Purakh via the langauge we understand and can read. Guru Gobind Singh Ji could have easily kept the HUMAN LINE going..He didnt - He passed the Authority to the Guru Khalsa Panth = Guru Granth Sahib....as SHABAD is our GURU and SHABAD is AKAL PURAKH...so in the SGGS we have SHABAD in the form we humans can understand and grasp. 2. Its a Fallacy that so and so sect affords more "shardha' "respect" to sggs than so and so. The Nanaksarees are the First to Challenge the Guru Khalsa Panth SOVEREIGN STATUS signified via the NISHAN SAHIB... They also posed the second biggest challenge to the NIRMAL PANTH of Guur Nanak ji by BANNING GURU KA LANGGAR which is so imporatant that it even gets mention in SGGS...and is copied by other deras like the one in Beas.. 3. Nanaksarees Hate the word GURDWARA...hence they establish THAATHS without the Nishan sahib or Guru ka Langgar. But for the time being they still NEED the SGGS to be present.. Latest nagar Kirtans in nanksaree areas show their true colours...in several major ones the SGGS was NOT EVEN PRESENT.....The PRIDE of Place was given to PHOTOS of the dead sants they revere so much...Nanad singh ishar singh etc...which means that over time ( give a few more decades)..that will get added photos of the latest Nanksaree babas dead ones..and SGGS will be SHOWN THE DOOR as has already happened in the CASE of the BEAS DERA !! Please do read the History of BEAS DERA..its Land was actually donated in the name of SGGS and SGGS used to be Parkahs there..UNTIL the RS Guru decided that enough was enough..OUT with the book !! Same "Lachhan" are cearly visible in Jagraon a nd related Nanaksaree THAATHS.
