[QUOTE="param88, post: 159500, member: 17214"] Brothers and Sisters, I request you to please read this before using such harsh words for Nanaksar. You may be insulting a true saint out of ignorance. First of all the question of celibacy, Baba Nand Singh ji did not marry but he never asked his followers to abstain from a family life. Its the followers who have started this practice in the name of holy Baba Nand Singh Ji and its their choice. The famous hazoori raagi of Baba Nand Singh Ji, Sant Sujan Singh Ji, was a married person. So will you get a lot of examples like this. Second is the question of worshipping Guru Nanak as divine. I'll quote three quotes here which shall answer your question: "Guru Gobind dou khade, kaake laagu paaye, balihaari Guru aapna Gobind liyo milaaye" Bhagat Kabir "Eh Bidh karat tapaseya bhaeyo, Dwae te ek roop hwae gaeyo" Bachittar Natak Dasam Granth, Guru Gobind Singh Ji roughly translated: My meditation to the primal lord reached its zenith and I became ONE WITH THE LORD "Gur Nanak Nanak Har Soee" Guru Nanak is the true guru, Nanak is the lord himself: Ang 864 Sri Guru Granth Sahib Just read the last tukk, it cannot be more clear than this. GurSikho if you believe in Guru Granth Sahib Jee, than you should believe in this. Guru Nanak Dev Ji never said he's the lord, but then that was his humility, he also said "Nanak neech kahe veechar", he called himself neech, haramkhor in the baani, but was he?? This is the glory and beauty of my sachhe pathshah Guru Nanak, he never claimed to be anything. Lastly about the babas of Nanaksar, then saadh sangat I can point out hundreds of cases in which head granthee sahibaan have commited so many sinful acts, but does that mean that we stop going to the Gurudwara. No, because our Guru is sampuran, his servants are humans and are prone to errors, but our guru is complete so why not just look at the guru. At the time of babaji there was no Gurudwara in kaleran Nanaksar, the place of origin of this movement, It was a kuchha place, because Baba ji used to say when my body isn't permanant y should I have a permanant structure built, this is the reason there is no nishaan sahib because Baba ji never built a gurudwara, you cannot offer money at nanaksar, only fruits, milk and cooked food is offered at the gurudwara.
