    Keen to have an international standing, the Lahore Museum has announced expansion plans that will include an exclusive gallery devoted to the city's Sikh history.

    The Daily Times quoted Gulzar Mashhadi, the museum's director, as saying that the Sikh gallery would augment the existing Hindu, Jain and Muslim galleries.

    The gallery, he said, would also house an old Granth Sahib, a priceless replica of the Golden Temple and a number of Sikh paintings and antiquities
