The Indo-Canadian community has been making news for some time for its so-called NRI marriages where `phoren' Punjabi boys land in Punjab, marry local girls, collect their ``dowry'' and disappear, leaving these poor brides in the lurch.

I have always regarded Indian sikhs as foolish compared to any of the NRI/western Sikhs.
