Following are some of the many ways in which ego may raise its ugly head.
    1-I am taller than you..
    2-I am wealthier than you.
3-I am nobler and more civilized than you.
4-I am wiser or braver than you.
5-My house is bigger and more beautiful than yours.
6-My child or my w*** is more beautiful than yours.
7-My caste is better than yours.
8-My religion is better than yours.
9-My country is better than yours.
10-I ,my,we us ---greater or better than you, yours.
What ever way it is displayed it is like a thorn in the heart. It gives pain and suffering as we move about in life.Guruji says'Sakat har ras sadh na Janya tin antar haumae kanda he'.Ego is compared to a thorn. It is also compared to serious chronic disease.'Haumae dherag rog hae'.It has been compared to a very complicated knot 'haumae binsee Ganthae'.
Ego wouldn't allow libration.Ego begets punishment.Perhaps all know it as it is in Asa di war.It is disease of communicable nature. When it has spread like an epidemic only satsang can save us.WJKKWJKF

Since you're here... we have a small favor to ask...

More people are visiting & reading SPN than ever but far fewer are paying to sustain it. Advertising revenues across the online media have fallen fast. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Donating to SPN's is vote for free speech, for diversity of opinions, for the right of the people to stand up to religious bigotry. Without any affiliation to any organization, this constant struggle takes a lot of hard work to sustain as we entirely depend on the contributions of our esteemed writers/readers. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too... Fund our efforts and together we can keep the world informed about the real Sikh Sikhi Sikhism. If everyone who writes or reads our content, who likes it, helps us to pay for it, our future would be much more secure. Every Contribution Matters, Contribute Generously!
