Raamkalee, First Mehl, Dakhanee, Ongkaar:

ik oankaar sathigur prasaadh ||
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

EAMkwir bRhmw auqpiq ]
ouankaar brehamaa outhapath ||
From Ongkaar, the One Universal Creator God, Brahma was created.

EAMkwru kIAw ijin iciq ]
ouankaar keeaa jin chith ||
He kept Ongkaar in his consciousness.

EAMkwir sYl jug Bey ]
ouankaar sail jug bheae ||
From Ongkaar, the mountains and the ages were created.

EAMkwir byd inrmey ]
ouankaar baedh nirameae ||
Ongkaar created the Vedas.

EAMkwir sbid auDry ]
ouankaar sabadh oudhharae ||
Ongkaar saves the world through the Shabad.

EAMkwir gurmuiK qry ]
ouankaar guramukh tharae ||
Ongkaar saves the Gurmukhs.

Enm AKr suxhu bIcwru ]
ounam akhar sunahu beechaar ||
Listen to the Message of the Universal, Imperishable Creator Lord.


Enm AKru iqRBvx swru ]1]
ounam akhar thribhavan saar ||1||
The Universal, Imperishable Creator Lord is the essence of the three worlds. ||1||

sun paaddae kiaa likhahu janjaalaa ||
Listen, O Pandit, O religious scholar, why are you writing about worldly debates?

As Gurmukh, write only the Name of the Lord, the Lord of the World. ||1||Pause||
