one year ago today, i awoke in the city of Guru Ramdas.
one year ago today, i entered the doors of Darbar Sahib for the first time.
one year ago today, i felt the amrit of Ramdas Sarovar on my face.
one year ago today, i slipped a kara on my wrist.
one year ago today, i promised never again to cut my hair.
one year ago today, i threw away my razor.
one year ago today, i promised never again to drink alcohol.
one year ago today, i promised never to be intimate with anyone except my husband (and i wasn't even married yet!)
one year ago today, i opened my first Gutka for the first time.
one year ago today, i promised to live in Chardi Kala (still struggling with that one).
one year ago today, i promised to help the helpless and defend the defenseless.
one year ago today, i decided to try to become Sikh (i'm still working on that one too ).
one year ago today, i decided to change my life forever.
one year ago today, i handed my life to my Guru.
