    New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led by Arvind Kejriwal is set to secure a majority in the Delhi state assembly, elections for which were held on 7 February. Trends show party is leading in a staggering 55 seats in the 70-member assembly while its nearest rival the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was ahead in only 12 seats. The Congress was leading in only one seat while INLD was ahead in another seat.

    Victory is wonderful. But if they walk on the path of subsidies, the public is sure to get in a lot of problems.Path of confrontation will not help either.

    Subsidies - They are not bad. Think of the capital like a big housing colony and everybody pools in money for 'maintenance'. And the colony representatives decide what the money should be used for. Right now cheap electricity is an important infrastructural need for everyone. Think of those drawings of a poor kid reading under street lamp, we don't want more of that! Empower everyone..

    Confrontation - The biggest drawback of India was no one confronts the corrupt. And we have been sitting hand on hand while many of our golden years have been lost. AAP is too late in that.
