ਸਲੋਕੁ ॥
Salok.
Salok (Core theme of eight sabads/hymns in the Astpadi)

ਸੁਖੀ ਬਸੈ ਮਸਕੀਨੀਆ ਆਪੁ ਨਿਵਾਰਿ ਤਲੇ ॥ ਬਡੇ ਬਡੇ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੀਆ ਨਾਨਕ ਗਰਬਿ ਗਲੇ ॥੧॥
Sukẖī basai maskīnī▫ā āp nivār ṯale. Bade bade ahaŉkārī▫ā Nānak garab gale. ||1||
The mild mannered live in comfort acting selfless and low. Nanak many bigger than big ego centric, rot in egotism.

ਅਸਟਪਦੀ॥
Asatpaḏī.
Eight stanzas hymn

ਕਰਨ ਕਰਾਵਨ ਕਰਨੈਹਾਰੁ ॥ ਇਸ ਕੈ ਹਾਥਿ ਕਹਾ ਬੀਚਾਰੁ ॥
Karan karāvan karnaihār. Is kai hāth kahā bīcẖār.
Only such is so enabled to do and get done. Do consider, one has little in one’s hands.

ਜੈਸੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਕਰੇ ਤੈਸਾ ਹੋਇ ॥ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਆਪਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੋਇ ॥
Jaisī ḏarisat kare ṯaisā ho▫e. Āpe āp āp parabẖ so▫e.
As such sees so one becomes. Such is by self and by self the creator.

ਜੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਕੀਨੋ ਸੁ ਅਪਨੈ ਰੰਗਿ ॥ ਸਭ ਤੇ ਦੂਰਿ ਸਭਹੂ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ॥
Jo kicẖẖ kīno so apnai rang. Sabẖ ṯe ḏūr sabẖhū kai sang.
Whatever such did was in own desire. Far from all close to all.

ਬੂਝੈ ਦੇਖੈ ਕਰੈ ਬਿਬੇਕ ॥ ਆਪਹਿ ਏਕ ਆਪਹਿ ਅਨੇਕ ॥
Būjẖai ḏekẖai karai bibek. Āpėh ek āpėh anek.
Understands, sees and does recognize. So is one and manifests to be many on own.

ਮਰੈ ਨ ਬਿਨਸੈ ਆਵੈ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੬॥
Marai na binsai āvai na jā▫e. Nānak saḏ hī rahi▫ā samā▫e. ||6||
Neither dying and destroyed nor born and dead. Nanak always such is so immersed.

Guru Arjan Dev ji in Astpadi 12, 6th sabad cite some of the manifestations of creator’s ways being all prevailing and powerful. The creator so carries out and gets done as wishes, visions of such become reality, does so to own preference, and is all knowing. Little in our hands and as creator wishes proceeds in creator being close or far to all

Guru ji conclude that such has no living transformational constraints and just is immerged in all, always.

TigerStylez ji as mentioned before, I will be happy to share, perhaps even in different layouts. I am posting this reply here for general information for all in case it is of interest to any one else as well.

I have done the Sukhmnai Sahib complete draft (and some other Baniis from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji). Every time I post here, I review and make corrections to the draft and then I post. Once I have gone through this over the next three months (12 Astpadis left and one Astpadi per week) , I would have a better package to share and I will do so.
