Meditate and listen to the Name of the Lord, and give it to everyone.

In this way, the filth of lifetimes of karma shall be removed, and egotistical pride shall vanish from your mind.

At times the lines that seemingly appear to be clear becomes incomprehensible. One may look at the underlined matter above. What are we supposed to give/tell others.? I work on 'waheguru'. Is there something more that I could not read.?

Re: Meditation On Naam , Naamdaan

In Japji Sahib, Guru Nanak mentions
Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=19233
Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=19233

Akhree Naam Akhree Saalah
Akhree Gian Geet Gun Gah

translates :-

God's Name and Praises are expressed through Words
God's Virtues and knowledge are sung through words.

Waheguru is the perfect word because you are not only praising True Guru (non other than God) but also calling upon him like a child who calls upon his/her mother.
