Yes, I totally agree with the above analysis. As I have not involved myself with these groups or in Sikh camps for a while, i just did not realise the problems going on.Until three weeks ago, Sr Arvinder Singh Khalsa, while speaking to me pointed out his obs and concerns that the youth were being brain washed around the local areas.I was quite shocked with what i was told.I had observed after attending a few workshops by certain self styled youth who were touring the country with messages abt 1984,about Randhir Singh's message under the guise of Gurus message, with self styled raan-sabaii kirtans that have no basis in sikhi and had noted that the messages were often distorted, misrepresented and extremely in accurate with facts.I was advised to take more part locally and keep my ears and eyes open. In fact at one presentation a fight nearly broke out betwen the youth and older sikhs when they raised objections and questioned the so called facts being put forward by a well known youth worker from slough Sr Jagdish Singh Ji.The presentation had to be abandonned half way by them, as the sangat was not prepared to listen to lies. In another, youths presenting 1984 atrocities were observed to be playing and causing emotional havoc with lies to the sangat in their presentation. When I wrote back and pointed this out, all the defenses went out up with excuses and later denials and more fabricated lies, and trying to hijack the issue elsewhere, eventually accepting that they should have de briefed the sangat at the end of it all.Such is going on. There is a of lot brain washing going as mentioned, and most of these people are not that intelligent when questioned and have only studied sikhi in one languague that itself is alien to the sikh religion. There is an organised attempt to hijack the youth and create a culture of extremism definitely.I have lost any respect for these goons and their presentations.
