Anyone wants to join the Club of 99 ?? What is this ?? Once upon a time...long long ago there was a King..who had marble palaces, gold filled rooms, thousands of servants....he had everything...BUT he was UNHAPPY. The King noticed that his poor Palace Guard, who lived in a small hut in the palace Grounds, had seven small children, a wife..and made just enough to feed them simple fare....ALWAYS had a SMILE on his jovial face...he never shouted at his wife and kids...and always looked sooooo happpyyy. The King then called his Minister and asked him what was the reason that in spite of having "everything" a man could ask for, He was most unhappy, and the poor palace guard with almost nothing was so happy. The Mnister replied..OH my lord..that is because the guard is NOT a member of the Club 99. WHAT is that asked the King....the Minister leaned near to the King and whispered in his ear. The King smiled and nodded. That very night, the King went to his vast treasury, took 99 Gold Coins, put them in a bag and left the bag outside the guard's hut. Early morning when the guard came out he saw the bag....on opening it he was overjoyed...we are rich we are rich he shouted. He emptied the bag on the broken down rickety table...and counted the coins...AH 99...he counted them once again..still 99. Where is the missing 100th coin ?? At once he ordered his wife and seven kids to begin a thorough search for the missing coin..he himself searched high and low...he forgot to eat...his wife forgot to cook...he even absented himself from work...but no missing coin turned up. He was mad and angry..he shouted at his wife...scolded the kids for not doing a good job looking for the coin... he couldnt sleep at all the whole night....and when he turned up for work the enxt day he was moody and sullen. The King called for his Minister...the guard has changed drastically...he said. AH yes..that is because He is now officially a member of club 99. These are people who HAVE EVERYTHING....but not satisfied....they keep looking for the 100th coin....and LOSE the 99 they have in the process. Gurbani preaches SEHAJ...SANTOKH....SABAR....as the recipes for Happiness. Jarnail Singh
