And how stupid of ME to think that this is a STUPID IDEA ... On my last viist to Punjab I had met a group of 35 parents who had paid LAKHS to Travel Agents who ahd sent their sons to GUATEMALA as Transit to USA. They ahd come to seek my opinion as to the chances for their sons..and I LAUGHED SO HARD they must have thought i was mad and not so "Gyani" as they had beleived....ha ha ha. 5 of them immediately contacted their sons by mobile and it was confirmed they were indeed in Guatemala waiting to cross into Mexico and then to Texas..USA. I was dumbfounded and told them Guateamla Mexico etc are dirt poor poverty drugs etc and already Latinos by the millions wait at borders to cross over..what chance do Punjabis of all perople have of crossing over.. WHAT a HUGE MISTAKE on my part...when I read this POST...I saw how wrong i am..but definitely..all the 35 I met are NOT persecuted or victims..they are SPOILED SONS of RICH Sikhs whose fathers cna easily AFFORD the LAKHS in agent fees..in fact one of them had already spent 3 LAKHS on a Body Building Course followed by PHOTO SHOOTS and Videos etc to make an effort at either Body builder/Model/Actor. Then he enrolled in a prestigious college to elarn avrious SKILLS such as motor mechanic, plumbing, electrician course etc etc..and FINALLY just paid and shipped off to Guatemala !! Of course he will also say he was persecuted/political asylum ..whatever necessary..japposatnamwaheguru:cheerleader
