Its a transaltion of Ahunavaiti Song 1 . The Ahunavaiti is the First of Five Gathas, composed by Ashu Zarathsuhtra Spitaman. Its names means, The Gatha of One's Personal Choice of the Lord. It has 7 Songs (Altogether all Five Gathas have only 17 Songs.) Its a tiny scripture in comparison with SGGS or almost any other scripture. </p><p> </p><p>Yet, the teaching of the Gathas, while very concise is very precise. It is a thorough going system It can best be considered as an outline of Principles upon which others can build on. Consider Zarathushtra as laying the foundatiion. A foundation which (and this it can be seen at least by very strong inference to be true) contributed mightilty to Judaism, Christianity, somewhat less but not much less to Islam) and to some Schools of Hinduism, as well as, possibly to Daoism and, at least in teminology, to Buddhism. </p><p> </p><p>As a matter of fact I believe that Zarathuhtra, instinctivelty, or otherwise, knew this was going to happen and set himself to create a base, and outline, for a rational belief system, with a deep ethical imperative. To do and promote Good in thought word and deed and to destroy evil. He openly taught that there would be coming saviors, which he calls Saoshyants, whom he also called called Saviors of the Lands, (Implying that they were to be born outside Iran proper) and he wondered when they will come with their advance doctrines! </p><p> </p><p>IN LATTER POSTS, I WILL LIKE TO COMPARE SIKHI TEACHING AND Z TEACHING.
