So far, the biggest name to throw her hat in the ring for that race is Nicole Paultre Bell, the fiancee of Sean Bell, the unarmed man who was murdered in a hail of bullets by the NYPD in 2006. Toor, a community activist and a TV host on a Punjabi-American television station, said afterwards that he think he has enough support in the African-American community there to have a winning coalition.
