So can I ask a couple questions? (if you look up you'll see i'm a Muslim so i'm lacking in knowledge on all this.) Sikh's, both men and women, shouldn't remove any hair from their bodies at all right? They shouldn't change anything at all right? No plucking, waxing, shaving etc I read somewhere else no circumcision as well... Right? All natural? What about the men who trim their beards? I've seen alot who do that. Btw, I admire the confidence in the women who are comfortable enough with themselves to leave things natural especially the ones in the west. You see when I read this I had a flash back to 1995 I would have been maybe 9-10 years old and the kids at school here in australia (look up again and you'll see in in aus) were teasing me because I didn't shave my legs and all the other girls we're already doing that for a while. And I would go home and cry to my mum about it, beg her to let me shave. After a few months she relented and took me to get my legs and armpits waxed. Teasing stopped. Fast forward to 1998 my first year of high school (12years-ish) and the girls started saying stuff about my eyebrows so one weekend I went into the bathroom shut the door and took some tweezers... My family was livid but I kept doing them. It's hard here when you're doing something that is different from the norm so like I said I admire your strenght. Tell me though, those of the women who are married, have you always been comfortable with your husband seeing you that way? Have any of your husbands ever asked you to do hair removal even though it goes against your religion? And if so or if they did, what would you say to them? And for the husband, you prefer your wife like that yeah? Thanks.

[QUOTE="Ruqa, post: 166846, member: 18090"] I know this is an old thread but I'm new and I just read it (most of it very quickly to be honest) out of interest.
