harbansj24 ji I am not sure who said we should not recite it in this thread. Now there are people abroad who say that we should not. The counterargument to that is this. That there are 50 or so pages within Dasam Granth that are considered by most reputable scholars as the true banee of Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji. Jaap Sahib falls within those pages. Those who speak against the recitation of Jaap Sahib are really very few. Too often when a person questions one of the other, doubtful, sections of Dasam Granth, assumptions and accusations are made against them. They are called heretics and Kala Afghanists; and the accusers do not look closely at their track record. Many of those called heretic do their NitNem as prescribed dutifully every day. A few of them are SPN Leaders. So your question was " Thank you! Now please tell me do you find anything in it that goes even a wee bit against the Sikh tenets? So why should we not recite it in Amrit vele da Nitnem? Even if as many say that it is part of DG and which was not composed by Guru Gobind Singh ji?" I do not think any of Jaap goes against Sikh tenets, and I think that it is consistent with Sri Guru Granth Sahib. After all, Sri Gobind Singh declared Guru Granth to be the final Guru. So why would he be the author of anything that is inconsistent with the Guru Granth Sahib? And it is the consistency of Jaap Sahib's message with the Guru Granth that led to it becoming one of the NitNem bani at the time that the maryada was being composed. I am not sure why you are asking me, directing your question to me, however, as there are more accomplished people who can give a better answer than I.
