Gyani ji Here is what I find very interesting. The thread started with an article posted in 2004 - 5 years and nearly 2 months ago. The title of the thread is How Do We Get Rid of Brahamanwaad From Gurmat. We are still working on getting Brahamanwaad out of Gurmat. As a matter of fact we are now struggling furiously with Brahamanwaad -- which IMHO was never part of Gurmat to begin with, but some people think it is. Now apart from the explanation that this is the result of political manipulations that have been building momentum since 1991 with the SAD and BADAL strengthening his hold on all matters of faith, there have to be other reasons for the strangle-hold of Brahamanwaad on Gurmat. My thinking is this. Suppose I announce to the forum that last night I had darshan of Guru Nanak Dev ji. Then I report that Guru Nanak told me that we could solve most of our problems by sticking to a simple rule, <table style="border: 0px none; background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% rgb(255, 255, 240); text-align: center; color: rgb(255, 69, 0);" align="center"><tbody><tr><td>ਸਚਹੁ ਓਰੈ ਸਭੁ ਕੋ ਉਪਰਿ ਸਚੁ ਆਚਾਰੁ ॥੫॥ </td></tr> <tr> <td>Sacẖahu orai sabẖ ko upar sacẖ ācẖār. (5) </td></tr> <tr> <td>Truth is high but higher still is truthful living.(5) </td></tr></tbody></table> If I charge people for this advice they will think I am a swami. If I just say here it is. You have this information in front of you for 500 years, it is boring. If I don't charge for my services it won't be taken seriously. Advice has to be DRAMATIC (pardon me and my copy of your caps), it has to be given by a self-styled "celibate" who mumbles and races through prayers, and makes it costly. Otherwise .....
