AAd0002 Jio, Gurfateh. I had the privilege of "knowing" this great human through his tracts and writings that the Pingalwara would send me now and then absolutely Free of Charge !!! These Tracts were the Bhagat's KIRT..means of livelihood to feed his own stomach..and he would sit near the Gates of Harmandar Sahib to offer them to the sangat...those who offered him money..he accepted.those who just walked away..no offense taken. A cursory glance through these Tracts shows the Academic qualification.. the worldy knowledge....the dedication..the environmentalist..the Nature Lover..the Kind and Passionate Human being the Bhagat was...so PURE and so LOVELY. Not a single cent from donations for the Pingalwara were used by Bhagat ji for his own needs.... HONEST LABOUR..WAAND CHHAKNNA..and NAAM JAAPNNA in REAL LIFE.....just like Bhagat kabir Ji weaving cloth..Bhagat Ravidass Ji doing leather work..Bhagat Sadhna Ji running hsi butcher shop.... YES today the Simple One man show Pingalwara begun by Bhagat ji is a huge Organsiation....most ably run by Bhagt Jis own chosen representative. Its the Premier Sikh Charity run along Gurmatt lines. The First ever Charity was a Leprosy Centre run by Guru ARJUN JI Sahib in Lahore.....and the Pingalwara follows in the Footsteps of the GURU... I can say withoout hesitation that a Sikhs DASWANDH is best served if given to this Pingalwara. ( THIS was exactly what Bhai Jetha Ji later to become Guru ramdass Ji founder of Harmandar Sahiba nd Amrtisar city used to do in hsi early days...except that Bhai Jrtha Ji sold a kind of "fast food" called Ghunngganiah made by his maternal grandmother to sustain the oth of them...Bhai jetha Ji never asked for money in exchange...some gave..others didnt..sometimes a hungry holy man would eat the entire stock and pay nothing...that night grandon and grandmum would go to sleep on a drink of plain water !! - TODAY literally more than a MILLION partake of GURU KA LANGGAR at Guru ramdass langgar in harmandar sahib...and in Gurdwaras WORLDWIDE Each Year...at absolutely NO CHARGE !!! The SEED planted by bhai jetha Ji has prospered into a Giant Banyan Tree...)
