[QUOTE="Archived_member2, post: 79116, member: 259"] Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakaal! Dear all and Namjap Jee! Quote "Are you referring SGGS as the paper bundle made of the dried wood from other trees ?" The true Guru's Wisdom is Sri Guru Gyaan Saahib. Ignorant have given the title SGGS to the printed book, originally written by the Gurus, and are waiting for the Wisdom. They are sitting around it and wasting life waiting for the wonder to happen. The true Gurus never called the printed Book their Guru. Strange, the business Baabaas have not come to the idea of patenting and manufacturing the pen. The Gurus were using to write. The reverend Gurus wrote time and again that the true Guru is the Sabad Guru. All the true Gurus are singing the same praise for the Sabad Guru today also. For me the true Guru is truth of Naam Sabad whom the Gurus suggested and transferred whole life. For the sake of later generations that they do not go astray, the wise Gurus gave it in writing also. Please come to receive true Naam Simran and find yourself how your preachers have been misleading all. Quote "When we bow in reverence to a sant or guru, we are not actually bowing to his physical anatomy but to his elevated wisdom." May I ask why most people prefer the printed book over loudspeakers, tape recorders, computers or radios? Is the bowing before a book is important or receiving the Wisdom of the Sabad? Is physical bowing possible to the true wisdom? The real bowing is transcending all worldly materials including books. It leads one toward God dwelling in everybody's center. Only Naam leads one to HIM. Quote "So how else can you bow to the gurbani of 6 gurus and various bhagats and bards all at the same time other than in the presence of SGGS ?" Strange. Who has become your guide? The true Gurus give it in writing to receive the true Sabad or Naam to merge into the Nirgun and Sargun Lord together. Who has hanged the true seeker on the printed book? Quote "If everything was physically more important, then gurugyan which is invisible to the naked eyes would not have been referred to, by all the authors in SGGS." I hope some have understood it after many long lives. Quote "So when we have the ultimate written wisdom of True Guru . . ." Writing of any kind cannot transfer the Ultimate wisdom. One may experience it and live it. The reverend Gurus never mention one incidence proving that one gets the ultimate wisdom by reading a book. Quote "So when we have the ultimate written wisdom of True Guru, without the anatomy part, does that make True Guru imcomplete ?" True Guru is the Sabad Guru. No one can write Ultimate Wisdom and bring it into the limits. Writings about true Sabad or Naam are indications and informations. Quote "This wisdom (visible and readable by physical eyes is the greatest link one can have) on the physical plane, without the need of biological apparatus." No biological apparatus accompanies when true Sabad leads one toward God. One sees truth there without eyes, without ears he listens and . . . Quote "If you were not impressed by the wisdom of SGGS, you wouldn't spend countless hours on the various Sikh sites." This may be right when one experiences it himself. Guru Naanak Dev Jee is rightly singing.
