In this sentence Guru Sahib tells me the way to achieve it. </span></span></p><p></p><p> </p><p></p><p><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'"><span style="font-size: 12px">Guru Sahib tells me to install, in my mind, what ‘The Sat’ means to me. </span></span></p><p></p><p> </p><p></p><p><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'"><span style="font-size: 12px">How do I install ‘The Sat’ in my being is the question now? Science tells us that when we mentally dwell on some entity or an issue frequently, the mind takes it that it is important. The portion of the brain responsible from generating the thoughts will project the same thought again when the brain is not occupied with something else and we start dwelling on it again, confirming to the mind that the particular thought is important. The though can be about a beautiful car or something else. </span></span></p><p></p><p> </p><p></p><p><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'"><span style="font-size: 12px">Guru Sahib has asked me through Sri Guru Granth Sahib to practice Simran. This way, I tell my brain that the entity, which is meant by the word I use for Simran, is important. While practicing Simaran, I also recall the way I conceptualise the Nirakaar i.e. ‘The Sat’. </span></span></p><p></p><p> </p><p></p><p><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'"><span style="font-size: 12px">Simran, when practiced with full involvement of mental faculties leads to changes in the brain formatting in the way that first loosen and then releases the hold of vices of the individual. The individual becomes free from the hold of desires and the sense objects; the Ahamkara in her or him starts dissolving. </span></span></p><p></p><p> </p><p></p><p><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'"><span style="font-size: 12px">With these changes in the individual, the virtues blossoms from within the individual. The individual becomes and expression of love, compassion, equanimity, respect for the life in all forms and for the environment. This way, progressively, the senses obey the mind, which itself becomes subordinated to the individual’s conscience. You know, I know, everyone knows the conscience in some measure reflects ‘The Sat’; it is the portion of ‘The Sat’ in us. Now the individual has moved closer to ‘The Sat’. What does this means? It means that I have become relatively purified. Continuing with Simran this process continues.
